About Me
I'm an author and screenwriter whose work spans fiction and film.
I began my writing career as a novelist, with several books of contemporary fiction published by Bloomsbury, including My Side of the Story, winner of the Betty Trask Prize. I have worked as Books Editor for Attitude Magazine, and have written various articles on writing for the Books Blog of The Guardian. I have since moved into screenwriting, recently graduating from the London Film School and developing a body of work across drama, horror and comedy.
My short screenplay Who You Are was nominated as a finalist for the UK Film Festival 2025. I have also developed a horror feature screenplay with Dolger Films and Launchpad Productions.
I'm particularly interested in stories about complicated relationships and unusual outsiders that focus on the darker aspects of human behaviour. My work tends towards psychologically driven drama, often with a literary undercurrent.
After many years of working as a novelist, screenwriting has become the natural next stage of my writing career. I'm now developing original screenplays for film and television and looking to collaborate with producers, directors and other writers.
