Will is also an award winning author. His first book, My Side of the Story, won the 2007 Betty Trask Prize and his second novel, Dream Machine was published in August 09. Will Davis was born in 1980 and is published by Bloomsbury. He has also written blogs for The Guardian and is books editor for Attitude magazine. Will's new book The Trapeze Artist about a man who runs away with a circus after suffering a nervous breakdown NOW AVAILABLE. Will is an aerialist who specialises in corde lisse (rope), tissu (silks), static trapeze and cerceau (aerial hoop). He has long been fascinated by the beauty of movement and the danger of circus, and nowhere are these two extremes more sublimely fused together than the aerial arts. He has performed at many clubs and theatre venues in London and the UK, including The Place, The Box, The Scala, The Shunt Lounge, The Old Vic Tunnels, Electrowerkz, The Vauxhall Tavern, Supperclub, McQueen, Volupté, The Lowry, The New Player’s Theatre, St Paul’s Church, Cochrane Theatre and The Albany. Festivals he has presented work at include Glastonbury Festival, Secret Garden party, Edinburgh Festival and Bestival. He is a regular performer for The Wam Bam club at famous burleque nightspot Café de Paris. Will has a range of acts readiliy available for performance, and is happy to create new pieces for special occasions, functions and site-specific events. Will is based in London.
